i want to give a little history about myself and what i do,, i have been an antique restorer for the last 30 years ,i bought a retired bank building in 1980 ;,,the bank building was a derelict building but it was built in 1914 and is wicked cool!,,turned out to be the best move i made in my life, it provided me a great place to live and also an awesome place to set up my restoration studio in the basement offices and the bank lobby made a great retail space to sell my restored antiques,,i live in the upstairs president offices ,,its a great loft space and i really dig it,
Picking , restoring and retailing antiques has made a decent living for me and my family . the antique motorcycle bug got me twenty years ago when a friend dragged me out to the Harmony Nj antique national motorcycle meet ,man was i hooked,,since then i have had a great time traveled around the entire country, well mostly, and met some awesome people and found some great bikes as well as parts for project bikes . I restore these bikes for customers as well as sell them from time to time. I also still restore antiques for my clients through my antiques business,, mostlycool furniture but i do ornate plaster picture frames ,lamps, signs, porcelains, lanterns, juke boxes , soda machines ,gas pumps, anything interesting.
this is a picture of a current project that i am literally just finished with tonight,,its a 1901 thomas motorcycle and its the third one i have restored,,the first one i did traveled a bit with the traveling exhibit that the guggenheim museum put together called "the ART of the motorcycle",,check it out ,,its still on my shop bench and will be going to the oley national meet with me in two days
